OOL operates a single modern passenger terminal with domestic gates on the north wing and international gates on the south wing. Public bus stops (Translink Bus 777), airport shuttles, and rideshare collection points are positioned directly outside the main exit doors.
Watch out for time zone confusion when traveling between Gold Coast Airport and Byron Bay: Queensland (AEST) does not observe daylight saving time, whereas New South Wales (AEDT) does between October and April (a 1-hour difference across the border).
