There is NO direct train from Rome Fiumicino Airport to Civitavecchia (going by train requires backtracking via Roma Trastevere + hauling cruise luggage onto a port shuttle bus). The easiest and fastest option is a Pre-Booked Private Cruise Port Transfer (45 minutes non-stop via the A12 coastal highway, dropping you right at your cruise ship gangway check-in!) or an official €145 flat-rate Rome taxi.

Terminals 1 and 3 sit side by side (5-minute indoor walk). The Fiumicino Aeroporto railway station is connected directly opposite Terminal 3 via a covered skybridge. Airport shuttle buses depart from Terminal 3 bus bays (Stalls 12–16).

Official white Rome city taxis have a mandatory €55 fixed flat rate (including luggage, for up to 4 people) to any address inside the Aurelian Walls (Historic Center). Dishonest drivers may claim the meter must be used or demand extra luggage fees—confirm "cinquantacinque euro tariffa fissa" before getting in.

The last Leonardo Express departs FCO at 23:53. For arrivals after midnight, SIT/TAM night buses run limited departures to Termini, or take an official €55 flat-rate taxi / pre-booked transfer.
