🏢 Terminals & Station Layout
Terminal 3 (Emirates & Flydubai) and Terminal 1 (all other major international airlines) each have a direct Dubai Metro Red Line station. Terminal 2 is on the opposite side of the runway and requires a taxi or bus.

Avoid unmarked luxury "limousines" offering rides outside arrivals for 250+ AED. Follow the official yellow RTA Taxi signs—official cream-colored taxis start their meter at 25 AED from the airport and cost just 50–60 AED (~$15) to Downtown Dubai.

The Dubai Metro closes around midnight (00:00, or 01:00 on weekends) and does not start until 05:00 (08:00 on Sundays). Since many DXB flights land at 01:00–04:00, RTA taxis or pre-booked private transfers are essential overnight.
